EMDR + TIME

Rather than pausing mid-process, 90-minute sessions allow for a more complete arc of work—supporting integration rather than fragmentation.

WHY LONGER SESSIONS

In a 50-minute session, it’s common to begin accessing something meaningful just as time is ending which can be frustrating. With 90-minute sessions, there is space to:

  • stay with what arises long enough for it to shift

  • reduce the start–stop rhythm

  • work with greater continuity, seeing transformation faster

For many clients, this makes the work both deeper and more efficient.

90-Minute EMDR Sessions

Extended EMDR sessions are often recommended in order to make the work feel more contained, efficient, and impactful—so you can process material more completely and move beyond interruption.

HOW SESSIONS FEEL

Longer sessions are paced carefully. The difference is not simply more time—but more continuity.

WHO LONGER SESSIONS ARE FOR

90-minute EMDR sessions are often a good fit if you:

  • don’t have time for long-term therapy

  • prefer a more direct experience

  • you want to move through painful material faster

  • want EMDR to be central—not occasional—in your work

  • prefer a more focused, immersive session
