I am an out-of-network provider, meaning I do not accept insurance directly. Many clients use their out-of-network benefits and receive reimbursement from their insurance company. Payments and Fees

  • Psychotherapy Session, 50 minutes: $220

  • Psychotherapy Session, 90 minutes: $325

  • EMDR Intensive Format, 3 hours: $640

How Reimbursement Works

  1. You pay for your session at the time of service.

  2. I provide a superbill after each session.

  3. You submit the superbill to your insurance company, typically through their online member portal.

  4. Your insurance company reimburses you directly, according to your out-of-network benefits.

What Is a Superbill?

A superbill is an itemized receipt containing the information your insurance company needs to process reimbursement — including diagnostic and procedure codes, license information, and practice details.

Why I Remain Out of Network

Practicing out of network allows me to provide treatment based on your needs rather than insurance requirements. This offers greater privacy, flexibility, and individualized care, and allows me to use specialized treatments such as EMDR without limitations imposed by insurance companies.

Payment Logistics

Payment is due at the conclusion of each session and accepted by cash, check, credit card, or Zelle.

For credit card payments, I use Ivy Pay, a payment system built specifically for psychotherapists and their clients, accepting debit cards, credit cards, HSA, and FSA accounts. Before our first session, you'll receive a text invitation to set up your payment method — I ask that this be completed at least 24 hours in advance. The process is quick, HIPAA-secure, and confidential. For future sessions, you'll receive a text notification when a charge is made, along with the option to view your receipt. I do not keep card information on file directly; it's securely stored through Ivy Pay.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions require at least 48 hours' (2 business days') notice to cancel, or the full session fee will be charged. Please note that insurance plans generally do not reimburse for missed sessions.

Sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis unless other arrangements have been discussed.

Reduced-fee services are available on a limited basis and determined collaboratively prior to the first session.
